Wi-Fi Direct is not only for file transfers or sensor metrics (think exercise), as this video demonstrates real-time gaming over direct connections between two laptops.
My favorite line from this Engadget post: "This isn't your father's Bluetooth connection, son."
The collective gaming community just went silent in awe! If there is one killer application for Wi-Fi Direct, I suspect gaming could be it.
